Connecting two RB433AHs

I’ve got two RB433AHs that I need to connect.

Unit 1 has a network connected to Ether1.
I want to connect Unit 2 to Ether3 on Unit 1.
Unit 2 has nothing connected to it’s ethernet ports. It received power via the power jack.
I’d like to plug Unit 1 into Ether 1 on Unit 2.

I don’t want to use a switch. ie I want to use a direct connection between the two RBs.

Do I need a straight through or cross over cable?

What do you do with two RB in one place :slight_smile:) Straight or crossover it’s doesn’t matter all new RB have MDI/X support.
