I have a question, we are buying software to maintain our space & they insist to buy Mikrotick router .
Let me explain our nature of business. We are renting virtual office, i mean to say people can rent a cubical for 1 day to 1 month and we
provide internet connection to them. Now let me explain my network. We have Juniper SRX340 firewall & juniper switches. We have Ruckus wireless Controller and Ruckus AP.
Everything is working fine. What i am trying here if any one go to Wi-fi network then they should see login page and validate information and then good to go to browse the internet.
So then i will come to know how much they are using our internet and as per that i will charge.
The software we are going to use Nexudus.com and they have a feature to use that with Mikrotik router.
My question is I want to use your router as captive portal for hotspot wi-fi users & not for firewall or DHCP server. I am going to use my firewall and DHCP.
Software company recommend to buy CCR1009-8G-1S-PC router. Please anyone can tell me how to use this router as a captivate portal.
Basically i am going to installed Mikrotik router behind firewall. I have my Firewall & Dhcp.
In this case how do i configure Mikrotik router as captive portal & not use as firewall or Dhcp ?.
