Hello there ![]()
A long time ago, when I was in university one of my lecturers was speaking about the maximum number of connections that could be provided by different types of networks…
It was something like, if you have two computers connected with :
- Ethernet(10/100 mbps) connection between, you could gain maximum X connections out of 10 Mb of shaped bandwidth
- Wireless(b/g/n) connection between, you could get maximum of Y connections out of 10 Mb of shaped bandwidth
- Optic connection, you could get maximum Z connections out of 10 Mb of shaped bandwidth
So my question is - Is there any relation between the number of connection over different types of networks.
And if there is… where I can read about it?
