Connects to hotspot, but doesn't open login page.

I have an access point running a mikrotik hotspot. It has been running for about 1 year now. Recently I updated some settings and suddenly users can’t see the login page anymore.

They can connect fine, and they are given an IP address/gateway/dns and the lot from the dhcp server, but when they open a website they are greeted by “Server Not Found”, instead of being redirected to the login page.

This obviously seems like some kind of dns issue, but I can’t seem to pinpoint it. Also, when trying to open up an IP address, the login page is shown. So if they open lets say 192.168.1.1, then they are successfully redirected to the login.

Here is a link to the export of the router’s config: CONFIG

The router is a Rb411AR and has access to the internet. It can ping google. Nat is off, but it has been off from the start and the internet gateway can ping the hotspot interface at 172.16.200.1

Is the computer at 172.16.140.1 a reliable dns server?

/ip dhcp-server network
add address=172.16.200.0/24 comment=“hotspot network” > dns-server=172.16.140.1 > gateway=172.16.200.1

It’s the internet gateway. It’s a routerboard aswell. All other hotspots have it as primary dns and they all serve their login pages.
