Control multiple WAN interfaces

Just to give some background, I work on Yachts which have multiple internet connections 3g, Wifi, and Satellite. I am looking for an easy way for the crew on a yacht to control these connections and RouterOS looks like it can fit the bill.

I just need some advice on which device would be the most suitable, 3 WAN connections and 1 or 2 LAN connections, and the best way to control the connections.

Thank you

Do you need wifi for WAN and LAN?

Maybe in the future, for now though I just want to keep it as simple as possible with 3 WAN connections that can easily be selected depending on what is available.

Load balance the 3 lines probably would do the trick

This should work.

Thanks for the tips.

I just bought a couple of the RB750GL’s and I am very impressed, wish I had tried out RouterOS a couple of years ago.

All I had to do to allow control of the wan connections is to create a user account that had a restricted menu (declutter the unnecessaries) then they just enable the WAN connection that they want to use and disable the others. I didn’t want load balancing as the connections are so varied in latency and cost.

All in all I am very impressed with RouterOS and the Routerboard routers that I bought.
