This is my current problem: I have a RB532A with a daughtercard each plugged to 4 different sectors. Each card has it’s own SSID and I’m using the Usermanager to control the access to my network. My main router (an X86 PC) is where the usermanager is running, so the RB532A consults it to allow or not the connection from the client. Since I have no way to tell to which card the customer can connect to, they keep switching between cards and sometimes I have 40 clients in one card and 4 on another. Is there a way to control this from the Usermanager?
You could set “floor levels” this would tend to balance the load based on proximity to the sectors…
This will not however deal with 40 users being in one sector and only 4 in another. If that is whare they are located, that is where they will connect…

Hi and thanks for the reply, but I need to balance the load among the sectors, all clients are within one or two miles from them, the farther away clients are not the problem.
What I was refering to, was balancing by the angle of the connection.

Sorry, can you be more specific?
Thanks,
