Convert LAN port to WAN

Hi,

I am using an RB750GL and would like to use an additional PPPoE link/modem. Is there a way to configure the port ether2 as a WAN port?

I believe port 2 is the master port by default so you may want to use port 5 instead…

Steps

  1. Interface - Un-enslave port 5
  2. Firewall - Nat - Duplicate Masquerade rule and change port to 5
  3. Interface - Add PPPOE client to Port 5

Notes
You will probably not want to add default routes for both of those PPPoE interfaces. That way you can manually add the routes and choose priority as I believe that is your goal, but don’t know for sure based on lack of details.
