I want to ask if there is limitation to CORE ROUTER CCR 1036 12G 4S
Our ISP terminated a fiber optic of 1gig MBPS on the core router but we are still experiencing very slow speed on our network
Does it mean that the core router can not carry 1gig bandwidth capacity?. Someone should kindly help me out.
Thanks
I would say: no configuration sent, no answer.

BTW: What type of answer do you expect?
My very first thought was “Yes, that model is good enough for 1Gb” but I asked myself “I know nothing however what if they have 123456 firewall rules, BGP to 100 peers, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, PPoE and hotspot installed for 3499 users?” and decided that the first obvious answer is wrong.
@omoluwabi; The CCR1036-12G-4S is a powerhouse router with a 36-core CPU, delivering around 15 Gbps routing capacity and 10 Gbps with 256 IPsec tunnels. It has no problem handling a full BGP table with more than 1 million IPv4 prefixes and approx 220,000 IPv6 prefixes. It’s equipped with only GbE ports and standard SFP 4xGbps. This is just a user forum so if you want further assistance you have to describe your problem in more detail, provide a simple network topology, and include more technical details about the setup.
@Larsa, Now you want more details LOL..
