Yes it’s fine for now but will let you know if I can reproduce this at will, but I don’t think it’s your app at all maybe just maybe this is a bug in SNMP in Mikrotik? thanks for the quick fix for the admin password
Yes, i know, but monitoring for wireless systems is very usefull.
I’’ve created dashboard in grafana with an exporter for know clients counts, on différents ssd, différentes bands and differentes caps
If you only need connected clients to a ssid, then i guess it won’t be too difficult to make.
For the NaN undefined / 0 kbps reading may I know your thoughts on this please?, it’s very unlikely this will happen on a busy system like this
It is usually because I poll them too fast, so it is not having values to calculate from. I will try to improve it (Have just not seen this in my own network)
Can you see if you can catch something in the log, when the wrong values are shown?
Will surely do and I’ll update this post if I see something significant, well if you could cache somehow the previous values maybe stored in redis or something then when you hit 0 values or nill/null value then use the previous value so that it’s presentable in the screen and change the color of the text to orange indicating this is a stale data just my 0.002$ ![]()
Hello,
Congratulations on your project. Here are my initial thoughts and observations:
- INstallation on debian trixie 13 LXC was straightforward using the provided script. Easy to deploy.
- BUG: My timezone missing, in fact many timezones missing. My Timezone is Africa/Nairobi UTC+3
- SUGGEStion: MOve usermanagement part of settings to top of list as thats the first thing that I need to do after installation
- SUGGESTION: Password update is only one field, need a second one to verify they are the same and Include a password strength checker.
- REQUIREMENT: Add two factor authentication options / passkeys. Refer to PCIDSS and ISO27001 standards that many of us are bound by now
- SUGGESTION: Update shift system to allow more shift methods. We use a three shift system.
- TRANSLATION: Rename on-duty schedule to just Duty Schedule in British English.
- SUGGESTION: Option to add all devices to a map on completion of scanning
- SUGGESTION: Option to add all devices from left menu to a map
- SUGGESTION: Add option in network scanner to choose a pool to scan against. or add possibility to set default prefix to scan, to save changing the 192.168.1.x
- BUG: scanning devices detects devices but does not add them to device list. See video (sorry cant upload screen recording mp4). If this is license restriction, then pop up a window directing to license purchase. Leaving a silent fail is confusing.
- BUG: DEvice Properties window not resizeable truncating the details. See screenshot
- CLARIFICATION: SWos does not provide API, make it clear how they are handled as SNMP only. These are also not detected on scan.
- BUG:Proxmox host does not show interfaces of the host. But details of the host like version and system identity are shown.
- SUGGESTION: Ability to multi select and drag objects on map.
- SUGGESTION: Choose an SNMP profile when adding snmp only device
- SUGGESTION: Add an SNMP walk feature.
- SUGGESTION: Under Link Configuration allow to choose type=wireless
- Add ability to add static objects e.g. cloud and label
- SUGGESTION: Make Upgrade to Pro button open in new window.
I will add more comments as I explore further and use the system.
Thank you and good luck.
Alex
Do you have a github issues page to submit feedback instead of mikrotik forum?
- I will add more timezones, i just stopped when i had the ones i needed

- I will probably do a complete redesign of the settings pane at some time, as more and more is getting in there.
- Password change will be updated.
- SSO and 2FA will also be added later.
- I will consider that.
- I will consider that.
- Added to wishlist.
- Added to. wishlist.
- You can save scan profiles, so they are easy to select again.
- Scanning, gives you a list of found devices, you can select them one at a time, and add them, it is intentional, that it is not just added automatically. (I will check if license can be a problem here).
- I can’t replicate this, what browser are you using?
- I will look into that, i guess SWos is just generic SNMP device then.
- Proxmox Interfaces will be added in next release.
- It is already on the wishlist.
- That should already be possible, please explain this a bit more.
- Not sure what this feature should be for, can you elaborate why this is a suggested feature
- It is on the wishlist.
- Already in the works.
- Noted, I will change that.
In general, what is your general opinion about the system, is it something you would consider using?
If you send me an email on ch@ease.dk, I will send you a license key for Pro version.
Hi CH,
May i ask if you could take a look why the host fingerprint change that invalidate the license?, It’s the same host I didn’t change anything except for the admin recovery password the configuration was still there but i can no longer add a host, thanks
I will have a look, not sure why that has happened.
I have just released ypur license, so you can reactivate it now.
Thanks it works now, by the way Just want to ask can you make the graph orientation user configurable I want the representation of the download is in the opposite direction and also can you put a time because I’m not used to check for the graph without reference time make that configurable too
I’m now confused why some graph is working as it should
Please add a toggle to add latency and packet loss % to be displayed along side with the bandwidth utilization box this is very helpful for ease of troubleshooting, specially for ping host only monitored host
Hello,
Yes I do see value in this as its so easy to get up and running and does not require much Linux knowledge. (see email from me with further thoughts).
Number 12: I am using Firefox 146 on Laptop with 1920x1200 Screen at 100%
Thank you for the license, email sent.
Alex
Pop out graph of Bandwidth history has no data, even though the map graph and link properties shows traffic for more than 1 hr.
You caught a feature i am working on right now, it has a bug I am working on.
It should work for CPU, mem, etc.
I have noticed that most of my graph when i hover my mouse to the bandwidth utilization is inverted but some has correct orientation is that a bug?, please take a look on my previous post thanks
Pop-out graphs are fixed now, just update to latest version.
Try updating to latest version. I have now added historical logging to all vitals, and bandwidth graphs. (Duration is configured in settings).
Let me hear if you still se issues after the update.
