Correct 10G spf+ cable

I read that for the router RB5009UG+S+i you can’t use a direct attached copper spf+ cable. I can’t find any documentation. I wish to connect this to a mikrotic CRS317-1G-16S+RM switch which can use DAC. Can someone shed some light on what cable I should use?

Why would you prefer copper over fiber?

And where did you read that ?

Mikrotik has their own cable, 1m or 3m.

I have XS+DA0001 connected to CSS610, works just fine with 10Gbps connection.

This is nonsense, I have one RB5009 connected with Mikrotik DAC to CRS354-48P, one RB5009 connected to CRS328-24P and at home RB5009 connected to CRS310 without a problem.

I was reading reviews, and that was one of the comments. I guess I should have known better. Thats why I couldn’t find it in the docs.

Thanks for the replies.
