Correct hardware purchase

I have been using my I7 laptop to connect my devices to ausb wireless client (ALFA Network) and the internal broadcom radio in adhoc mode to provide to the machines in my house. I have come to realize that there are better uses for an I7 machine. I would like to purchase a RB/433, and two N cards, and two antennas (one pointed to the distant AP, and one pointed internally, to either create an AP or adhoc connection.

Using the RouterOS 4, would the above work, or should I find another device to meet my needs. Thanks for any advice in advance!

So I don’t need to purchase a higher RouterOS version?

ROS license level 4 and up will do you fine, 3 does not function as an access point (that you require).
