i want cost effective solution.


if i m install MT in AMd pc and add one R52 MT Wireless minipci and Configure as a AP
and client side againg install MT in PC and add Wireless mini pci card like TPlink,Dlink or Any wireless pci lan card
and configure as a Client and add 24dbi parabolic antenna ..So it is Possible to do like this and connect customer..

if anybody has better solution for this and also cost effective then tell me pls…

In my experience, most PCI wireless cards you mentioned are not compatible with MT.

Yes you can use those pci cards with MT, cause I’m using the Tplink pci card(2.4GHz) in one of my MT client side and it’s working good with a 24 dbi grid antenna and with min 50 feet cable. It’s very cost effective then other cards and BTW Tplink card use Atheros AR5213 chip.

I was looking for the best cost effective wireless solution for my clients and after reseraching for a few months I have done it, now we use our handmade(own) 2.4 GHz antennas (patch, Sector and grid) and very cheap tplink or Airlive AP to connect with our radio base(MT) and we are satisfied with those antennas and APs to make a CPE. If we use a wlan for the client end than cost is less then AP setup. With AP the CPE cost is more or less 100$ and with wlan cost is more or less 72$. BTW the cost is with antenna and other stuffs.

I have had VERY good luck with the AirLink101 B/G/ Super G (108 ) cards. (Atheros PCI based)
RouterOS seems to love them. EXTREAMLY stable and EXTREAMLY cheap !!
