Could not add IPsec policy: IKEv1 does not support Curve25519!

I have a problem with L2TP/IPsec vpn. When I try to connect from my iPhone, I receive an error:
”could not add IPsec policy: IKEv1 does not support Curve25519!”

How about using IKEv2?

I was 100% sure I am using IKEv2, though.

“L2TP/IPsec vpn” does not indicate it is IKEv2. That normally does not run L2TP on top of it.
