Could not connect to [MAC] (port 20561) - timed out!

Hello,

I can connect only to IP address (RB751U-2HnD).
When i try connect to MAC-address (on any port), i always get error:

RouterOS WinBox Error
Could not connect to [MAC] (port 20561) - timed out!

any suggestion?

Hi
I have resolved the issue on my side.

I had a host only network for virtual box, as soon as I removed that, it worked again.

I have two RB751U-2HnD as WiFi bridge (Mikrotiks without ip-addresses)
Bridge work, but i can connect only to one Mikrotik!
Other Mikrotik always show:
RouterOS WinBox Error
Could not connect to [MAC] (port 20561) - timed out!

(i do not have any virtual network adapters on my PC)

any suggestions?

Try different computer, or disable laptops wifi card.

at your computer network disable any virtual network and it will work …

Can you mactelnet from one to the other?
