Couldn't change <pppoe-out1> - non rate limit queues are useless on this interface (6)

Hello all,

I can’t make any changes to the pppoe linterface on my router (RB1100AH ROS 6.35.4) through Winbox 3.4.

I wanted to tick the box for ‘use peer DNS’, but when I click ‘apply’ it displays the following error message:

Couldn’t change Interface - non rate limit queues are useless on this interface (6)

If I try to do anything with the interface it displays the same error, for example if I try to disable the interface.

The interface queues are all set the same with “only-hardware-queue” for both the queue types (it was set that way by default).
I’ve rebooted the router, upgraded from 6.35.2 to 6.35.4, and I’m at a loss of what to do as I’ve never seen this error before.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Ok never mind, it looks like I fixed it. I changed the pppoe interface queue to “no-queue” and I’m able to change it now. I have no idea why I was set to “only-hardware-queue”.
