Couple Newbie Questions.

Using newest Stable OS on Metal AC device in CPE & Router mode

First question, I cannot change my DHCP Scope from 192.168.1.10-192.168.1.254 TO 192.168.1.10-192.168.1.99 that I need it to be. When I edit it the Label turns Blue but when I click on Apply Configuration it just reverts back to the original scope. I currently don’t know how to use the command line on this device, heck, I don’t even know where to access it so that is not on the short list of things to do.

Second question is how do I specify a different DNS entry. Currently DHCP is giving out the Router Address and I would prefer so set my own and not assume the local device is a good choice.

To change IP Pool: Use winbox go to IP>Pool, double click pool and change it as you want!
To change DNS: Use winbox go to IP>DHCP Server > Networks, Double click network, if you see DNS Server gray click on it and write your dns, to add an second dns server, click on down arrow next to first one!

Thanks! I had just stumbled upon the DHCP pool entries but hadn’t found the DNS yet. Its all good now! Thanks Again!! -Bill
