CPE + MikroTik + freeRADIUS Help pls

Hi Guys,

I need some help and advise please,

I am trying to setup accounting and auth using freeRADIUS. this is my setup,

I have a High Site which is a MT 433 RB v3.20 and I have CPE’s ubnt NanoStation2’s connecting to it, I also have a server running Radius Manger “freeRADIUS”.
currently the CPE’s are connected to the high site using WPA security and all have static IP’s, from there they have direct access to the internet through a router.
On the same network I have a linux server running freeRADIUS and I have tested this work’s i.e. if I do a radtest user 1111 localhost 1812 testing123 on an ssh session on the server I can see it authenticates and works.

My problems is how do I get the CPE’s to authenticate to the freeRADIUS server via the MT HighSite.

I would appreciate it if someone could give me a brief break down on what I need to setup e.g.

CPE, to to PPPoE input username and passord,
MT, setup RADIUS to point to the RADIUS server
RADIUS srv, create corrosponding acc.

something to that effect.

There’s plenty of information on the Forum as well as the WIKI about setting up FreeRadius and PPPoE. Search a little, read a little, and when you have a probem come back with a question :slight_smile:
