CPE mode - storing SSIDs and Passwords

Hello all, I been searching for a solution for this for a while (maybe I am using the wrong terminology ?). We travel with our boat to different locations back and fort and I would like to have my bullet connect automatically to known WIFI networks. This is a standard feature on mobile devices as they store SSIDs and passwords so whenever you are within reach of a network you have connected to in the past, it automatically reconnects.

I’ve search this site and the internet but I haven’t found any way to store them into my Mikrotik device. Therefore I always need to disconnect for the previous wifi network, do a scan, find the WiFI network I want to connect to and enter the password, not difficult but rather anyoing.

Looking forward to your solutions or for pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks

Dan

Not sure which device you use.
If it’s a device with legacy wifi (= non-wifiwave2), checkout the connect list area.
What you describe is a typical road-warrior config.

If your device is configured in station mode and then providing further wifi or LAN access to other clients, it can use a default scan list (leave SSID empty and scan list set to default) which then in turn will use that mentioned connect list (top to bottom) to search for a known profile.
You can specify all known networks up front (I always add my own phone hotspot as last, so there is always at least one I know it should be able to find).
