I have CRS126 and will like to use swich chip for L2 and cpu for routing between vlans. As switch, it works fine, cpu below 1% while copying file between 2 ports at 1Gbps. However, in order to route between vlans, i needed to add switch1-cpu to vlans. I expected to see cpu involved only for traffic between 2 vlans. But i get 50% cpu usage while copying between 2 ports in the same vlan. Is that normal? Shouldn’t cpu just ignore traffic, since it’s direct between 2 ports in the same vlan?
