As far as I know, when using cards like RB52/RB52H, which provide with hardware encryption, there is no too much CPU consumed for encryption.
thanks sergejs!
I read in some post that use WEP could reduce up to 30% of bandwith, this can be a size extra in each package? and if so, WPA or WPA2 generate less by size package?
sorry i use translator, not package.. is packet.
marceloru,
In the last January I have started a migration process from almost two thousand of Wi-Fi costumers.
The old Wi-Fi infrastructure were opened, no encryption must required and IP Addressing were fixed.
Nowadays, we are using WPA2/AES with PSK, stored on radius server and tunneling our costumers using PPPoE.
I can say to you with a experience in this subject:
I hope to help you.
Regards,
HRober
thanks HRober
