CPUs supported

HI,

i tested tik, and it seems very good. I would like install it on better machine but i cannot search anythink about supported CPUs (except basic info in manual thah not supported 2cpu systems). I will use system with AMD Athlon 64 or XEON HT CPU. Is these CPU supported ?

And second Q: Now i have on gateway generic linux on 2-XEONs 2.8 machine and 512MB RAM and it is loaded about 50% (cca 5000 clients, in peak hours up to 180000 simultaneous connexions - :angry: torents :angry:). Can I manage it with microtic on signle processor machine (when 2-cpus not supported) ?

Any CPU supporting IA32 instruction set is fine. HT or 64 bit extensions are not supported.

Regarding your second question you have not indicated total traffic coming through the box. In any case you can use load balancing with two routers.
