We’ve got 10 Crossroads boards here and we’re seeing low TX power. Our power meter reads 17dbm on 9 out of 10 of them in AP Bridge mode. 2412. Only one shows 26 dbm.
Anyone else seen this? We are running these boards with superchannel.
Can you describe more about your measuring method? Remember that any TX system can’t provide constant output power on wide frequency range because contain resonance circuit.
To be able to use 26dbm, you need some upgrades, please contact your distributor, since only the distributor has the software.
Can you provide some more details on this upgrade? Our distributers don’t know anything about any upgrade software.
On the crossroads to get full transmit power you have to reinstall routeros using netinstall.
