CrossRoads

What is the wlan power?
In Brochure says 26dBm and in Users Manual says “with 1W maximum output power” . The difference is BIG.
So witch one is it?

Hello?! What are you selling people?

to be compliant with FCC it had to be locked down to 26dB

Sorry for writing here but all I have to write is about crossroads so I’ll use this topic:
I recently baught rb crossroads and it came with 2.9.47…I upgraded it to 3.6 and it died…
serial connection says jumping to kernel code and after 3/4 minutes it reboots/the funny thing is that I must reset it from the botton everytime when I want to launch it otherwise it does not want to come alive/.
I’ve erased nand and I’ve been trying 2 days to put ros-3.5 on it with no luck.
Here is what happens:

How can I recover a crossroads board that won’t boot up now?

Upgrade over serial says error limit exceeded in about 3 seconds. Upgrade over ethernet says invalid upgrade file id.

how did you tried to upgrade the board?
Please use v3.4 netinstall and v3.4 packages for installing crossroad.

Netinstall doesn’t show any device. The Crossroads pulls an IP, then says invalid file ID. Never shows up in Netinstall.

Nothing shows up in Winbox, nothing shows up in Netinstall, Crossroads plugged directly to the laptop with a crossover cable. Crossroads pulls an IP, but refuses to update. Is there something I’m missing in Netinstall? I have chosen my directory where I have v3.3. Does it have to be 3.4?

Tried 3.4, same problem, with Netinstall v3.4 or 3.6.

Ok, got it booting from ethernet, transfer ok, setting up elf image ok, jumping to kernel code and it just sits there.

Got it going.

Using Netinstall 3.4 and firmware ROS 3.3, boot from ethernet, install, tada.
