Croudy Wi-Fi

Hello @ all.
I 'd really appreciate any suggestions, as it would be for this:
An all-day beach Cafe-Bar-Restaurant like in the picture below, lies in front of an over-crowded beach. The cafe is about 50-55 meters long and the width is about 20-30 meters.

In summer time, it is expected to host about 500 connections (on peak time). I should propose a model to provide internet access to all these people, inside the red area. The store already has two 15/1 Mbps stable cable connections. Also an RB2011 is available from the owner, by previous attempts.

I’m trying to figure out on:

  1. What kind of APs are needed? The space is narrow and 500 mobile devices is a respectable number.
  2. Position suggestions. On-sand installation should be avoided.
  3. Any thought.

Short answer : not doable.
Long answer :
While some manufacturers claim 100 clients per radio (or even 500) and let’s say you could do with 5-10 of some probably expensive access points you would still have to route all those clients to separate AP’s and manage bandwidth so they could have a decent browsing experience. A 15/1mbps Internet connection is okay for 1 to 40 clients with proper queuing on RB2011. This is not including Facebook or Instagram uploads which is probably what the clients are after anyway.

Sorry to disappoint, others may have better experience but this is what I’ve learned to expect in high density places.
