CRS 518-16XS-2XQ

RouterOS Beginner Basics

I bought this switch and upgrade the firmware to 7.16.1.
I’m trying to boot SWOS and it is not working.

Do anyone have any information about this?

Unless I missed something on the product page, that device can not use SWOS.
Only ROS.

It can be the option is visible but it will not work.
Search this place, it has been discussed already.

With a beast like that, why would you want to downgrade capabilities and use SWOS ??

I just need to know how to configure it.
I’m aware to configure like a router and make any mess and loose throughput.

As a switch and nothing else:
Start from clean config
Use winbox to connect using MAC
1 bridge
All ports to bridge
Done.

If you need more functionality, you need to be more specific.
