Just wondering if I use any of the bridge firewall to do some mac protocol filtering on a crs3xx that the bridge will be done in software and not offloaded to the switch asic. If this is true my assumption is that the switch will be limited to the speed to the CPU (1 gb according to the block diagram).
I am assuming not given the following:

A lot of assumptions and don’t want to make a design mistake believing these switches can perform these actions at wire speed.
