Hi all.
I am not sure where this problem is coming from.
I have 4 CRS Desktop Switches using FW 6.28. They are supposed to be linked forming a ring topology. There are 8 VLANs which I need to transport from one switch to the other.
If I try to close the ring I lose them and can’t ping them anymore. Only when I open the ring and reset the switch I can access them all again. Funny thing is that I don’t need to power recycle them all, but only the one I am connected to. I am not using any kind of bridge. I tried setting up a bridge, just forwarding the MGMT VLAN. This too didn’t work.
Question: Has this something to do with STP or RSTP. Any suggestions how I can resolve this issue?
