I want my Mikrotik CRS to have a trunk coming into ether1 with a few vlans on it.
I also want that trunk to continue on ether2 with the same vlans.
That part is simple and I have been doing it for some time.
Here is the part that I can make work, but it’s never consistent.
On this incoming trunk on ether1 I have an untagged LAN used for my accessing my hardware. I even use it for this switch.
I would like for this untagged LAN to continue with my outgoing trunk on ether2 as well to use it for other hardware also.
In some cases this just works and in some it doesn’t. Yes, I could bridge but then I lose a lot of my vlan functionality. In some cases I have MT routers further down the trunk and/or UB AP’s or unifi’s. I really want to keep a hardware LAN on my trunk without it being a VLAN.
What is a simple way to configure this?
