Does CRS109 (corrected - before was crs1009) series desktop switches have wallmount holes on the bottom? I can’t find anywhere a photo of its underside.
Anyone able to post a relevant photo for that?

there are no special holes on the bottom, but you can turn the included rackmount “ears” against the wall, and mount like that.
sorry, i was talking about crs109 desktop switches. Do they also contain these rack ears?

Yes, all CRS units have rack ears, including the small desktop ones.

You are right, I made a mistake, only the CRS2xx series have rackmount brackets in the box
Maybe there is another rackmount product that you have access to, that doesn’t need the ears? You could ask the seller if they have the ears available separately
Does the CRS109 have screw holes on the sides that rack ears can be fastened to? If they don’t then KillerOPS would be required to drill holes into the sides of his CRS109 in order to put ears on it.
routerboard.com doesn’t have any pictures of the sides of the CRS109 so I cannot check this.

In the meantime my friend who got a CRS109 somehow managed to install the switch on the wall. The rack ears weren’t included in the package, but I think he used some piece of sheet metal and some of the lateral ventilation holes of the device.
It would be good for the rack ears to be included in all CRS devices in the future, or have some holes on the bottom for cases like these.
I imagine my friend is not the only guy wanting to install that switch on a wall.
We have already updated the part list, to include rack ears in more CRS desktop units:
- CRS210
- CRS212
Currently stocks have older kits, so ears may not appear in boxes for some time, until inventory has been updated everywhere. We will try to include them in all products in future.
Can we get those rack ears somewhere ?
