Hi guys,
Is there any way to disable the “All PoE LEDs flashing” due to low input voltage?
I want to use the second input with 24V for redundancy purposes, without the need for PoE. The device seems to work perfectly fine with 24V input on both power supply sockets, and it would be nice to disable the flashing.
Yes, i have tried both these settings. I have even tried to disable all eight RJ45-interfaces alltogether, only using the SFP ports. The LEDs are still flashing red when i plug in a low voltage (24V) power supply, in power input 2. It seems like the flashing is unrelated to the interfaces themselves, and more of a feature ment to warn about the lov voltage power supply.
However, the device works perfectly as a normal switch without PoE when supplied with 24V on input 2. It would be nice to disable the alarming LEDs and use the second input for redundancy.
Here is a unit working, but I can’t see blinking leds on disconnected ports.
If you believe that the leds are not working correctly, try to upgrade to last ROS version with his firmware and if still the problem persisting, contact to MikroTik support to know if is a ROS bug or your unit is defective.
