Just installed 7.10.2 on CRS112-8P-4S-IN
Cpu is stuck around 50% with ANY configuration yet.
Same on three devices.
Is it better to stay with ros V6 ??

These devices (crs112) have weak CPUs so you will get high utilization in v7 or V6 when using winbox with certain menus open. To get a better idea of the normal load use an ssh session to the switch and monitor it that way.
That said, if you are using these for more than a switch, I would not recommend that (regardless of version).
Cpu utilization (or at least displayed utilization) is far less with ros6
Anyway , even a simple winbox terminal paste session shot it at 100%
I have to use them for switching but with few tagged vlan, let’s see…
I’d stick with v6 on these devices. As biomesh mentioned, they have a very slow CPU and since they do not support L3 HW offloading (or any other new switch feature introduced in v7) upgrading doesn’t provide you with any extra functionality either.
I have my CRS112 updated to v7 and it works fine as a switch. Via ssh the cpu runs at ~10%, but with winbox with an interface menu open (with couters) the CPU jumps to 30%. It has always been this way for the switch.
You might get slightly better performance on v6, but not much. This is definitely a device that you should not run any routing services on.
