I am having trouble with the above named switch/router. A couple of times per hour, it beeps once, turns off the ports, the display says it’s downloading something, beeps twice and turns back on. This process takes about 15 seconds and then everything goes back to normal.
Can someone please tell me how to solve this. I would be grateful.
Is it possible for you to directly connect the router to a computer or laptop where you can then use the Winbox application to access it? From there you will be able to see some information such as RouterOS version as well as the ability to post your configuration here (with sensitive data such as serial number, IP addresses etc redacted). It will then give us a better idea of what’s going on.
Info is saying that ether1 connection broke. Either due to something device connected to that port is doing (power off) or some problems with connection (cable get damaged, port got damaged).
As already suggested: to further diagnose what is going on, you have to connect to switch ... either using web browser, using winbox or via SSH CLI (depending on how switch was configured in the first place).
Sounds like reboot. RB beeps once on power-up and twice after it completes loading ROS.
You need to pull up logs to check for crashes. If nothings there, look for power faults - bad supply, overload etc. CRS125 has console port so logging that to computer or another RB can help in case logs are empty.
