CRS125-24G-1S-RM degrades performance when connected to 100MBit Extender

Hi everybody,

I got me a CRS125-24G-1S-RM for my SOHO. Everything works fine so far, all connected devices autonegotiate the proper speed. But if I connect an extender to the CRS the throughput degrades to 100Mbit for all connections.
There is only one subnet configured for the uplink. Otherwise no other configurations.

Did I miss something?

Extender: TP-Link 300

Speed test with extender connected:
peter@msi-linux:~/tmp> time scp 192.168.99.245:/data/peter/1gb .
1gb 7% 77MB 11.0MB/s 01:26 ETA^CKilled by signal 2.

Speed with extender disconnected:
peter@msi-linux:~/tmp> time scp 192.168.99.245:/data/peter/1gb .
1gb 100% 1024MB 78.8MB/s 00:13

Almost sounds like it’s operating as more of a hub?
What RoS version are you using? Have you tried upgrading to the stable or current versions?

You said no other configurations, but I know I’ve had the mine start acting like a hub if the switch section is misconfigured.

Seems that I had version 6.7 installed. Now I have upgraded to 6.33.3 and it works like a charm!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
