CRS125-24G-1S-RM LAN performance

Hey guys,
When i use a bridge and connect 2 ports to run a lan speed test or a file copy test I get around 500mbps, my linksys router can do 950+.

If I dont use a bridge (do master/slave) its fine and i hit the gigabit mark no problem.

So
a) can I get by without using a bridge if I want to use bonding or other features that seem to require bonding?

b) regarding bonding, maybe im doing this wrong, can you get by without a bridge?

c) will this ever be fixed? should I look at another product from mikrotik? if so which one can do what I’m trying to do.

Feeling like I messed up making this purchase, but hopefully its just my lack of knowledge in how to set it up properly.

My goal was to use it for a pppoe wan router and basically plug in a bunch of PCs of which a couple would be setup for bonding.

You need to use the switch chip features found under the switch menu instead of a bridge. Bridges are CPU constrained and don’t use the switch chip.

ok found the menu

but no idea what to do here

Disclaimer I don’t own a CRS. I have messed with it on RB750GLs.
