Hy,
I am new with Mikrotik gear but it’s going smooth … ![]()
We just installed a CRS125-24G-1S-RM here at the job but we need more ports.
Can i stack a second CRS125-24G-1S-RM with SFP to the first one ?
Regards,
Manu

Why not?
You can use vlans on the sfp interface as well to trunk to your next switch. I would advise you to take the version with 2 sfp ports however. For future proofing
Well, you could always trunk ports together with 802.3ad to get more troughput between the two switches… ![]()
But I wouldn`t call it stacking…stacking usually means that you tie together backplanes aswell and manage it as one device.
Which unfortunately cannot be done with MikroTik.. ![]()
in addition stacking gets higher speeds than just trunking or Link Aggregation.
But as said by Etz: No stacking possible (yet…)
Well techincally you could achive same speed via 802.3ad aswell, but It wouldnt make any sense, as you wouldnt have any ports left, If you “trunk” them all together (6 groups, 8 ports in group = 24Gbit/s)… ![]()
