CRS125-24G-1S Setup as a Router

I am trying to setup the CRS125-24G-1S as a router, with DHCP server, where port 1 is the Wan port and all the other ports are behind the WAN port and pull from the DHCP server. I have the newest 6.29 routeros and setup a dhcp server but I am missing something as all the other ports are pulling IP addresses from a different DHCP Server.

it can be

but take a look on previous topic on CRS

take in count routing task are accomplished using software CPU and CRS has a small one, and 10% of that cpu resources are in use to manage the hardware switch

Sounds like you have a rogue DHCP server you need to identify. Some switches have tools like DHCP snooping to lock out rogue DHCP servers, but this would probably have to be achieved with some custom Layer2 ACLs in a CRS.

I actually use a CRS in a router a few places where I needed a switch near the router anyways…but as others have mentioned the CPU isn’t huge and the switch eats up 10% of the CPU. And it sounds like you have another DHCP server on your network somewhere. Post your config and I can make sure it looks right.
