What is CRS125-24G & CRS226-24G L2‘s 64-Byte Packet Forwarding Rate performance on L2
An example:
Cisco Catalyst 2960G-24TC-L , 64-Byte Packet Forwarding Rate is 35.7 mpps

The CRS125 uses the same CPU as the RB2011LS.
http://routerboard.com/RB2011LS
The throughput should be about the same at 106,000 PPS for 64kb.
He is talking about L2 - i.e. switching - this would be if its going through the CPU which in a standard config and transfer (seeing as this is a switch) it should not go through the CPU.
I dont have an answer to the question though, sorry.
Sorry, Qualcomm doesn’t have any spec sheets for the switch chip in the CRS
You can safely assume that traffic through the switchchip is linerate.
I want the data
Your data consists of a marketing press release stating “wire-speed switching”.
Qualcomm Atheros has not released any spec sheets on the current QCA851x switch chips.
Do keep in mind that a $150 switch is not going to have the same total switching capacity as a $1049 switch.
So, not really fair to compare a 2960G-24TC-L and a CRS125-24G.
NO,I just want to know the L2 performance ,not to compare a 2960G-24TC-L and a CRS125-24G
