We just installed a CRS212 and are having problems with dropped packets.
Our WAN connection is plugged in to a 260GS with an ethernet cable. From the 260GS we have fiber running to a CRS212. This connection is working as it should.
We have fiber from the CRS212 to a RB2011 as well. This connection is dropping packets. At first we thought that it may have been the fiber itself so we installed a media converter at both ends. The fiber works with no dropped packets. We took the same modules out of the media converters and plugged them directly into the Mikrotiks and we immediately started losing packets again. We are dropping around 20% of the packets we send.
We have:
turned off autonegotiation
set to 1Gbps
Set To Full Duplex
We are not receiving any collisions or errors.
