Why is the CPU slower (400 MHz) than the 2011 series? (600 MHz)
And this with more ports?
Is the performance better than de 2011 series?
CPU in all CRS switches does not matter in switching configuration … but if you use it as a router it does matter and I suspect this one is slower than 2011 series when it comes to routing. Use it as a switch and consider something more powerfull if you need a router. CRS125 for example has the same CPU as 2011 series, but I noticed it is not as capable as 2011 series in same conditions .. in my case it is about 30% slower than 2011uas, CRS226 will most probably preform even slower when used as a router. CRS platform is mainly for switching, not routing.
