CRS305-1G-4S+IN as a media converter for WAN and switch for LAN?

Hi.

Thinking about using a CRS305-1G-4S+IN as a media converter for WAN (fiber from my internet provider to RJ45 to my router) and a switch for LAN.
Config would be something like this.

Port 1 = WAN/Internet in, SFP+ fiber module
Port 2 = WAN/Internet to router, SFP+ to 10gb RJ45 module.

Port 3 and 4 = LAN

Is it possible to fully isolate WAN ports from LAN, and would I get full 10gb speed on the ports?
Is this config advisable, or would I always risk WAN leaking over to LAN side?

No one…?

Just use vlans, and make sure it is properly configured. There is no reason why it can’t work, but it does take more effort to configure than basic configs.
