Is it possible to do the following configuration with the CRS305-1G-4S+IN

  1. Ingress (SFP+ 1): Receives the 10GbE multicast stream from your source.
  2. Egress (SFP+ 2, 3, 4): The switch listens for IGMP "Join" messages from downstream devices connected to these ports. If a device on SFP+ 2 requests the stream, the switch opens the path. If SFP+ 4 doesn't request it, no data is sent there, preserving bandwidth.

This is exactly what IGMP/MLD Snooping does.

And yes, your switch supports it, in hardware, thus is able to do it at line speed.
