Hello everyone, my first topic here, I’ve been using mikrotik for a long time, I have two CRS305 1G+4S+ and one CRS309-1G-8S+IN.
I have a problem with 2 CRS 305 1G+4S+IN .
I updated both to the latest version of SwitchOS (SwOs 2.17) and after rebooting to RouterOs mode I can’t access the default gateway (192.168.88.1).
I can install any version using NetInstall, but I still can’t access the devices.
Any suggestions? I’ve been using these devices without any problems for over 3 years.
These are the settings on the network card and I’m using Windows:
IP:192.168.88.2
Mask:255.255.255.0
Gateway:192.168.88.1
DNS:192.168.88.1

Try to use winbox and MAC access to device. It could be that default ROS config was deleted from your devices for some reason which would lead to device not being set up with any IP address. Winbox MAC connection works fine in such case.

I have access to the device exactly as you explained, thank you very much.
I still want to understand why when I reboot to RoOS the IP changes to 0.0.0.0
RoOS is still on version 6.x, I will update to the latest version.
Thank you very much again.
Topic solved.

Settings in ROS and SwOS are completely separate, as if they were running on different devices.
IP address shown as 0.0.0.0 is s sign of no address at all (it’s just the way of winbox saying it doesn’t have any information about that).
