CRS309-1G-8S+IN question

Hello, I recently bought a CRS309-1G-8S+IN, along with 4, S+RJ10’s. however, after looking online to figure out why I couldn’t enable jumbo frames, I noticed that the MIkroTik page says
“Any MikroTik device with active cooling that has SFP+ ports can now be used…”
“S+RJ10 module is supported also on devices with passive cooling, but may require an extra cooling.”
and "New revision of S+RJ10 comes with several improvements:

  • Jumbo frames up to 10218 Bytes are now supported"

and thus, my questions

  1. How can I tell I’m getting the latest revision of the S+RJ10’s?
  2. do I need to buy anything extra for the CRS309-1G-8S+IN in order to use them with out worry? (my main question) as the 4 I had got really hot.
