I’m trying to connect the CRS310 to a HP-Switch. HP-Port is trunk with tagged vlan’s and all sfp ports on the CRS310 should also be trunk ports with tagged vlan’s to connect some other switches.
Initially the CRS310 is in bridge mode with a bridge called “bridge”. All ports are connected to “bridge”. Management is via “ether1” which is also a port on “bridge”.
But on this step:
/interface bridge port add bridge=bridge1 interface=sfp1
I get “failure: device already added as bridge port” which is logical because interface sfp1 is used by “bridge”.
When I change the “sfp1” port to the new created “bridge1” via the GUI the CRS310 says good bye and I can’t access it anymore.
Is my first error that I’m trying to do this while the CRS310 is in Bridge-Mode?
I don’t want to run the CRS310 in Router-Mode, because I expected to use the CRS310 as a switch.
After upgrading to FW 7.15 the system fan was a bit noisy with 13’000 turns p/m.
So I did return to FW 7.13.5 and after RouterOS was booting properly I also came to the conclusion why not using SwOS…

@MikroTik:
The system fan speed is 0 or 13k RPM and nothing in between. No settings offered to adjust. I’m just using a USB fan to keep it quiet here in my lab.
I’m a bit concerned how long the fan will last in production running 13k speed 24h
