I was going to go with the CRS326-24S+2Q+RM but due to wanting to do an MLAG pair, they are not ideal due to the MIPS processor being limited to roughly 1,000 hosts before you get problems. I was wondering since the CRS317-1G-16S+RM has a dual core ARM processor, how many hosts it can support. I believe I need something that can handle up to 10,000 hosts across 40 odd VLANs.
Has anyone got any information on this, or perhaps a deployment of their own to comment on.
Yeah I think the CRS317 is the answer here, but I want to make sure it can cope with my environment, before I go purchasing 4 of them.
Would be great if someone has any deployments with that many hosts on them.
I assume the ARM processor in the CRS317 is more than twice as powerful than the CRS326, as I assume the ARM cores are stronger as well as being dual core
