I’m using a CRS317 and a RB260 to test a SFP link. So I got two problems:
1 - CRS317-1G-16S+ freezes SFP cages.
*Normally on the first boot of the day, but not only, the sfp cages cannot recognize the sfp modules, it shows only 0C on temperature, you can change the module, port, conect, reconect.. nothing happen.
*When this happen, the FAN still on all the time, until you reboot it.
*It responds normally on the eth port.
*No configuration, only static IP.
*No faults or beeps on starting.
*SFP ACT led is off. On the other side we can see that SFP infos that are normal.. so I think the optical link its connected right(?).
*Serial console takes a lit bit longer to show options.
*Serial console shows nothing then normal.
2 - RB260GS - CSS106-5G-1S needs a reboot to correctly communicate:
*Sometimes when I turn the power on it loses like 30%-50% icmp packets … it continues until you reboot it. Then it comes to normally communicate.
*If remove and re-insert SFP it works too.
This problems occur only on start-up.
Using SwOS 2.7.
