I mainly got these switches because we do a lot of events in south Florida and we typically put the switches out side during these events.. we tried using other switches before but just always had over heating problems. I thought that this was going to be the solution. while I admit I can not be Sure if there was a power problem or not on site I do know that I started getting temperature alerts from Zabbix stating that the termperate went to 71 degrees celsius. I was hoping that, this wasn’t going to be a concern but after an hour of the alert like this.. the switch powered off. and did not come back online for another 47 minutes or something like that. then stayed on for another 8 minutes or so and rebooted again. I was wondering if anyone out there has have these switches out in the field like this and has experienced any rebooting issues with this switch at around these temperatures.
I’ll provide the graphs from zabbix and a few prints of what’s going on.
