CRS320 PoE Controller Error with mAP lite

BEWARE!

If you use the CRS320 PoE++ Switch and plug-in a mAP lite AND you reboot the Switch after it, PoE won’t come back up again. It goes in an endless controller-error/controller-restart loop.

If you use 7.21, you can’t even fix this by unplugging every device and doing a cold-restart.

Starting with 7.22rc1 (just a half year later) your switch will recover when you unplug every device and restart, but when you plug-in your mAP lite again and reboot the switch, PoE for all ports is dead again.

If you need PoE, you maybe better don’t use Mikrotik….

A few questions, if you don't mind and have time to do the tests (if you haven't already done them) and detail results.

Is that behaviour the same on both "sets" of ports:
Ether1-Ether8 (af/at)
Ether9-Ether16 (bt)

Does this happen with both auto and forced on settings on the specific port?

The map lite is definitely 802.3af, but it should work just fine with passive.

I did some more tests with the new firmware. Here is my step-by-step instruction on how to repeat the problem:

First I reset the configuration, so everything is back to default, i.e. IP is 192.168.88.1.

Remove all attached devices. Only one non-poe network cable is attached in order to be able to login to management gui.

Removed power.

Plugged in power.

Switch booted. PoE says controller-error. Endless loop. Fan volumes go up and down.

Logged in via admin.

Rebooted the switch from System→Reboot.

PoE-Controller is now working, until next cold start.

Yep, but without knowing which port you are using and with which settings it is far from a complete/proper report.
