Netinstall is not work, I try upload system-6.39.1-mipsbe.npk over ethernet(tftpd):

trying bootp protocol.... OK
Got IP address: 10.1.1.1
resolved mac address 20:CF:30:28:E0:2D
transfer started ....................................................... transfer ok, time=15.84s
setting up elf image... not an elf header
kernel loading failed

.

Where is I can download elf file?

Never touched on of these new “dual boot (SwOS/ROS) beasts” yet, not even sure its mipsbe, which could explain the “not an elf header” problem (are you sure the .npk file is complete?).

Enter RouterBoot config console, and either try

  • Force backup booter (ROS)
  • boot SwOS

Then upgrade either version.

Could be also the CRS is damaged.

Yes, npk is complete. I think need a *.bin or *.iso file with bootable filesystem inside(sqashfs?).

I cant found Force backup booter, in console only:

What do you want to configure?
   d - boot delay
   k - boot key
   s - serial console
   n - silent boot
   o - boot device
   r - reset booter configuration
   e - format storage
   w - repartition nand
   g - upgrade firmware
   i - board info
   p - boot protocol
   j - boot os
   t - do memory testing
   x - exit setup

Try boot Flash Configure Mode:

Select boot device:
   e - boot over Ethernet
 * n - boot from NAND, if fail then Ethernet
1 - boot Ethernet once, then NAND
o - boot from NAND only
   b - boot chosen device
f - boot Flash Configure Mode
3 - boot Flash Configure Mode once, then NAND
your choice: 3 - boot Flash Configure Mode once, then NAND

SwOS is booting normally. I upgraded this, but ROS also say “kernel not found”.
Any idea to reflash this device?

CRS326-24G-2S+ is ARM architecture device, try to reisntall it with Netinstall using RouterOS package for ARM.

I bought CRS317 and happen the same problem. I can access via SWos but ROS not. It is giving the same error. I tried to netinstall but it is not working. Did you manage to reinstall ROS?
Thx

Hello!

How to setup port channel or microtick bonding on Mikrotik SwOS ?
Is it possible?
