CRS326-24G-2S+RM: Can't install WiFi Wave2 package

Hey,

I would like to install the “WiFi Wave2” package on the CRS326-24G-2S+RM to run CAPsMAN on it. Unfortunately, after uploading it to Files, it says “upgrade failed, free 8445 kB disk space for a (null)upgrade”. The Files folder is completely empty, both when looking through WinBox and when using /file print or /disk print. According to the technical specification, this device has a Storage Size of 16MB and 16MB is the minimum space required to install the WiFi Wave2 package.

So the question is simple - is there any way to install this package on this device, or do I have to run my CAPsMAN somewhere else?

Thank you very much for your advice,
Martin

Those 16MB of flash are not unused, they are mostly used, but you can’t see contents. Check /system resources, you’ll see free space there.

Hi, thank you so much for the answer.

No, 1.7MB of free flash is too little for wifiwave2 package.
